There are a number of electronics stores in Latvia and quite a few online shops. Euronics is one of the larger retailers with stores around Riga. The stores are clean, well stocked and they carry many good name brands. I have purchased quite a few items from them including a television and a number of camera lenses. Their prices are usually reasonable during sales.
Unfortunately their customer service after purchase is really terrible. Basically if you have a problem with one of your purchases you are on your own. They will not exchange a defective item. They send it out for repair or evaluation which can take 30 days or more. The sales people know absolutely nothing about the process and will not bother trying to help you. After you make a purchase there you are persona non grata.
This is typical of customer service in all of Latvia and most of Eastern Europe. So go for the best prices you can find on items because customer service in non-existent.
