Rossini

Rossini is a little Italian restaurant in the embassy district of Riga.

The atmosphere in Rossini is cozy and warm. It is very popular with embassy personnel and politicians. The food is pretty good most of the time. The menu has some interesting and tasty selections. The pizzas are nice and thin and tasty but often are under-cooked. If you are ordering pizza be sure to ask them to bake it until it is finished.

The prices at Rossini are average for Riga but a bit on the high side for what you get in my opinion. The average price of a small pizza is 5 Lvl, $10 USD. With something to drink be prepared to pay 6 Lvl for lunch and 8+ Lvl for dinner per person.

The service at Rossini is slow but the wait staff is polite. Do not expect them to ask you how your meal is though. They are not trained to do that yet.

If you are looking for a nice place for a business meeting or rendezvous then I can recommend Rossini.
