In doing my extensive research I found that SEB is the least expensive bank to work with for people over 60. They have good online banking, plenty of ATM machines and branches.
So I went to my local SEB branch to open an account.
I showed the service representative my passport and residency permit. She told me that I needed to go to the branch in the city centre to open the account since I was a foreigner. She said that she would call though just to be sure. She called and was told that she could open the account there. So she filled in all the paper work and I walked out with 2 new accounts and the ability to open more accounts online if I wanted to.
Their online banking is available in English and is quite fine for all my needs. So far I have been completely satisfied with the bank.
SEB also has a very good pension fund for those who need this.
I can heartily recommend SEB bank as a dependable banking services provider.
